More than ever before, customers are interacting with the library outside our walls. Whether checking out eMaterials, attending digital programs, or using curbside pickup, libraries are innovating to meet needs in unique ways. Recognizing the need to meet people where they are, Pioneer Library System teamed up with Overdrive to deploy a new digital collection free to any user without a library card, accessible through solar-powered benches that also provide Wi-Fi connectivity and phone charging. Attend this ShopTalk to learn how one library system is helping bridge the digital divide and connect more people with library resources through this innovative solar bench project.
