Of all the censorship hot spots around the country, Louisiana is one of the hottest, with multiple ongoing efforts to restrict information in libraries and schools around the state. What legal protections do librarians in Louisiana have against these efforts? How can we battle censorship in Louisiana and beyond? Speakers from the Tulane First Amendment Clinic, the Freedom to Read Foundation, community activists and Louisiana librarians will lead a conversation about legal and practical strategies for fighting library censorship.
