Professor Michael Dando and library leaders from across the country will introduce ways that libraries can use Speculative Design Studies and Multimodal Literacies to engage young people in imagining sustainable civic futures. Participants will engage in crafting an artifact from the future and leave with practical strategies for advancing similar programs in their communities.
