Leaders are often described in terms that are more in aligned with extroversion: outgoing, gregarious, forceful, charismatic. But often, some of the best leaders are introverts who possess a more introspective power. During this workshop, participants will learn how to find the power in your own unique strengths — how to use your reflective tendencies to your advantage, how to lead your team effectively by putting your above-average listening skills to work and how to reach new levels of success without pretending to be someone else. More specifically participants will learn: What traits make a successful leader, whether extrovert or introvert? How can an introvert successfully cultivate these traits? How can we promote yourself and lead meetings that will work for both extroverts and introverts? Identify and use your quiet strengths as an introverted manager to your advantage and manage your energy efficiently (discover what recharges you; balance your social time with requisite time alone). We will also explore inclusive practices that embrace unique and diverse viewpoints to raise your and your team's visibility to increase recognition, retention, promotion potential.
