The need for developing strong partnerships between school districts and public libraries is a critical MUST. Participants will hear how Delaware Public Libraries and Colonial School District are working to develop a true statewide model to protect the role and importance of school libraries. Participants will take away important lessons learned from our project of connecting school and public libraries and key benefits occurring from this powerful collaboration, including a recent multi-million dollar and multi-year investment from our Governor and State Legislature to expand our model statewide.
