Anderson, SC
Dalvin Gray is an instrumentalist, and vocalist out of Anderson South Carolina. Throughout his career, Dalvin has played with many different people around the upstate of South Carolina. During his early years in high school, he was selected to play for the “North Charleston jazz festival.” While making decisions about his further career choices, Dalvin soon realized that music was going to be a gateway for him and his family. While at such a young age, his family knew that he had talent. He grew into the drums and started teaching himself to play. And from there, his progress and determination and motivation shot up. Now a rising sophomore in college, he has pursued his goals and dreams over the years and has played with various young artists and musicians around Anderson and the upstate. While in college at Anderson University, Dalvin has came across multiple opportunities playing with different recording artists and meeting them as well. He has played with vibraphonist, Dr. Jason DeCistofaro and jazz guitar player Dr. Chris Beyt. Spite all of the achievements, Dalvin has worked with many students from his alumni Westside High school where he will be on the staff. Earlier this year, the Johnny Mann center for commercial music released an album called “ Redefining AUthenticity” created by the premiere commercial music group AUTHENTICITY featuring Dalvin on a few tunes.
