Brandon L. Robertson is an EMMY® nominated director and notable Upright/Electric Bassist originally from Tampa, FL.
Being a bandleader, Brandon has headlined at the top jazz venues in the country, such as Blues Alley, The Jazz Showcase, The Side Door, Velvet Note, and many others. To add to his resume, Brandon has performed with acts such as The Count Basie Orchestra, Carmen Bradford, Laila Biali, Jason Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Warren Wolf, Kenny Washington, Jeremy Davenport, Marcus Roberts, and Marty Morell.
Brandon is the Director of Jazz Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL. He is the official bassist for the Gulf Coast Symphony's Jazz Collective and the Director of the GCS Youth Jazz Ensemble in Fort Myers, FL. Brandon's album "Bass'd on a True Story" is now available.
