The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation is an international, non-profit, professional association organized to develop and promote comprehensive, clinically effective and empirically based resources and responses to trauma and dissociation and to address its relevance to other theoretical constructs.
ISSTD offers a supportive environment, both virtually and face to face, for those entering the field and the more experienced clinician with training, events, and resources specifically geared to all levels. With more than 1700 members from 41 countries, ISSTD fosters a collegiate environment for members to refine their practice, research, and ideas through collaboration, training, and networking with others across the globe.
Education is one of the primary goals of the Society. In recent years we have expanded our training opportunities to include conferences, training courses, and webinars. Many of our training opportunities are available in virtual formats to allow participants from around the world to expand their knowledge in the areas of complex trauma and dissociation. In 2021, ISSTD launched our Online Learning Center which includes more than 400 hours of recorded content.
