Meghan Cupp Buxton (she/her) is a PhD candidate in her third year with interests in immune health, pharmacoepidemiology and the use of electronic health records and claims data for research. She obtained a BSc in Nutritional Biochemistry from McGill University and MPH from Imperial College London before coming to the Brown University School of Public Health. Meg’s dissertation work assesses the patterns and safety outcomes of concurrent use of opioid and biologic disease modifying therapies in older adults with autoimmune disease.
