Sabine Straus conducted her PhD research at the Medicines Evaluation Board and Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on medicines and sudden cardiac death. In addition to her work at the Medicines Evaluation Board, she holds a position as associate professor at the Erasmus Medical Center, department of Medical Informatics in Rotterdam. Since 2018, Sabine chairs the Pharmacoviligance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC), of which she had already been a member since its establishment in 2012.
