I am currently a postdoctoral fellow based at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand). My research interests include bioinformatics, biostatistics and genomics, particularly on the analyses of microbial and fungal genomes. I develop and use software to answer fundamental questions about the biology of these organisms. I also have an ongoing research interest in pharmacoepidemiology and medical big-data analytics.
