Dr. Rajesh completed his B.Pharm & M.Pharm degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and Ph.D. from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal in the area of Healthcare Improvement and Patient safety. He has more than 16 years of Academia experience and 4 years of Hospital & Community Pharmacy experience as a Chief Pharmacist. His areas of interest include Medication Therapy Management, Patient Safety, Pharmacoeconomics & Outcome Research. He underwent Clinical Pharmacy and Research Training at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Canada.
He has around 41 paper publications and 34 paper presentations at the International and National levels and has received 5 times Best oral/poster presentation awards. He was the resource person for 43 conferences/seminars/workshops. He attended 33 International & National workshops/ conferences and seminars and has organized 17 conferences/seminars/workshops. He has visited Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Dubai, Thailand, Australia, and Denmark. He is a reviewer for 8 International journals. He is an external examiner and question paper setter for Ph.D., Pharm.D, and M.Pharm for 7 universities.
He received research grants from the Department of Health Research, ICMR, Govt. of India, and the Intra-Mural Fund from MAHE. Apart from the research incentive award and travel grants from MAHE, he received fellowships/scholarships from the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and FIP Netherlands.
He is a life member of the Kerala State Pharmacy Council, Indian Hospital Pharmacist Association (IHPA), and International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE)
