Dr. Victor Sumbi has over ten years of experience supporting public health systems strengthening initiatives in three countries in Africa. He is a pharmacist by training with a Masters degree in Public Health and International Master’s degree in Health Economics and Pharma-economics. He has been providing technical assistance to the Kenya Malaria Program for the last seven years in various activities including surveillance, monitoring, and evaluation, procurement and supply management, case management, implementation of the malaria outpatient and inpatient quality of care surveys, and implementation of vector control interventions including routine and mass distribution of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets. He is currently a Program Management Specialist with the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) at USAID Kenya.
