Kathryn has over 30 years experience as a speech language pathologist working in a variety of settings to include the NICU, pediatric acute care, outpatient clinics and rehabilitation, home health, university clinics, and private practice. Kathryn was a credentialed provider and evaluator for the Illinois Early Intervention program for 20 years. She was a clinical educator for 13 years at Elmhurst University and is currently a clinical associate professor and senior lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kathryn’s areas of interest and expertise include supervision and mentoring, birth-to-three, parent coaching, speech and language disorders, fluency, hearing loss, and feeding disorders. Kathryn has extensive experience working with medically complex children from infancy through early childhood. She has presented on topics to include assessment and treatment of feeding disorders, parent coaching in the natural environment, developmental outcomes for children with early medical experiences, and transitioning from the NICU to birth-to-three. Kathryn is Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk. She is a member of both the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association and Wisconsin Speech Language Hearing Association.
