Kristin Chmela, CCC-SLP, BCS-F, earned her MA at Northwestern University and was a member of the initial cadre of recognized specialists in stuttering and fluency disorders. She is former Chair of the American Board of Fluency and Fluency Disorders and has lectured about stuttering diagnosis and therapy across the world. Kristin is owner/director of Chmela Fluency Center (DBA Chmela Communication Center) and Co-Founder and Co-Director of Camp Shout Out. Kristin spends the majority of her time working with clients at her clinic in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
