I am a budding epistemologist, Hearing Scientist, and full-time doctoral student within Liberty University’s PhD program in the school of Health Sciences. I serve on the board of Illinois Hearing society as secretary/treasurer and appointed on the board of directors for the Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission. Additionally, I serve on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Student Involvement Committee within the Illinois Speech and Hearing Association, and Board of Directors: Student Representative for the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing.
As a hearing health practitioner for nearly 12 years, I have performed hearing evaluations on innumerable patients; from birth to 105 years old! I am a proven trailblazer and educator in hearing health and communicative disorders. I have earned an BS in Audiology and a MEd in Higher Education, Educational Leadership. I am licensed to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin and furthermore, a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist. I have received advanced training to perform Auditory Brainstem Response test for newborn. My scientific research encompasses: Aphasia, Neurology, Hearing Aids, Psychoacoustics, Hearing Science, Speech, and Aural Rehabilitation.
