Abstract: Conducting international research is an ambitious endeavor which requires high levels of motivation, initiative, curiosity, flexibility, critical thinking and creative problem-solving. During this presentation the process and key considerations for planning international research will be discussed. Addressing challenges and the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic on international research will be addressed. In addition, principles of community based research which were incorporated to address cultural differences and participant recruitment challenges, will be discussed. Participants thinking about international research will have the opportunity to explore a topic of interest.
