Abstract: In efforts to improve the patient satisfaction of hearing aids, it is important to utilize evidence based research to improve the experience. With nearly 80% of Americans between 20-79 not wearing hearing aids that could benefit, the field of Audiology needs to change the current best practices utilized in modern clinical practice.
Summary of Presentation : This presentation will unearth the importance of AR in modern practice and illuminate the current evidence based research to support a change in clinical behaviors, standards, and routines.
