Abtract: This presentation will focus on the process of language sample analysis for purposes of assessment and progress monitoring with bilingual (Spanish-English) children.
Summary: Langauge sample analysis (LSA) is a recognized gold-standard approach to clinical language assessment of monolingual as well as bilingual children. However, there are well-known barriers to using LSA in clinical practice. This presentation will address these barriers, and demonstrate the importance and clinical utility of using LSA with bilingual (Spanish-English) children.
