S. Bobo Tanner, MD, CCD, is an Assist. Prof. of Medicine in the Divsion of Rheumatology and Director of the Osteoporosis Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville TN. He was recognized as the Clinician of the Year from International Society for Clinical Densitometry in 2007 and with the President’s Award from the Tennessee Rheumatology Society in 2017 He is a past president of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. and currently works on the ISCD Education Council where he updates and teaches the Quality Bone Densitometry Clinicians Course throughout the year. He is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD) . He is on the editorial board for the Journal of Clinical Densitometry and Therapeutic Advances in Musculoskeletal Disease.
