Dr. Ranjodh Singh Gill, M.D., FACP, CCD is an endocrinologist who is a professor of Medicine at Veterans Administration Medical Center and has faculty appointment at Virginia Commonwealth University school of medicine in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Gill has been teaching and practicing endocrinology for about twenty-five years and his special interests include male hypogonadism and osteoporosis. He is a certified clinical densitometrist and actively treats all endocrine disorder, especially male gonadal and metabolic bone disorders in addition to reading DXA scans.
Dr. Gill has been active at various local, regional, national, and international organizations including ISCD for many years. At ISCD, he is President Elect and is involved in planning and designing ‘Position Development Conference (PDC)’ in 2023 and is an executive board member as well as a member of its scientific advisory council. In the past he has chaired the ISCD Marketing, Communications and Membership and website committees besides being a member of CME and curriculum committees. He has also been involved with restructuring and writing of CCD examination in the past. Most recently he has also become active in American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) where he was a member of its pituitary and parathyroid networks. He has been awarded the Fellowship in American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Gill has had speaking engagements at Endocrine Society annual meetings as well as other International scientific meetings in Canada, Brazil, and India. He is also actively involved in mentoring at endocrine society and has extensive involvement in judging and mentoring at state and national level with American College of Physicians (ACP) and nationally at Endocrine Society. Over the years, he has worked as abstract and manuscript reviewer for Osteoporosis International, AACE, AAMC and MedEdPortal.
Besides academics, Dr. Gill enjoys spending time with his family and engages in creative writing.
