There is a well recognized worldwide gap between evidence-based recommendations for post-fracture care and actual clinical practice. This session will address how fracture liaison services can greatly improve post fracture outcomes and how one can be implemented.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the importance of improving post-fracture care to improve patient outcomes.
Discuss how fracture liaison services (FLS) models can be established and enacted.
Report on international experiences in the area of FLS.
