Noah Madrigal is a second-year graduate research assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. His work at NMSU centers on scaling up the application of Enzyme-Induced Carbonate Precipitation (EICP) to the field. EICP is a novel bio-inspired ground improvement technique that can be used to combat wind and stormwater erosion. His research is being conducted under the guidance of Dr. Paola Bandini. He earned his bachelor's degree in geological engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2020.
