Corey Mandrusiak, PAg, CPESC
Corey has been working in the erosion and sediment industry for over 20 years and in this time has worn the hats of contractor, supplier and consultant and has a very good perspective on working and crossing many industries including: oil and gas, mining, pipelines, highway/road construction, landscaping, etc.
Corey is a Professional Agrologist (PAg - 2003) and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC - 2009). He graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Environmental & Conservational Sciences and also graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Diploma in Forest Technology.
Corey currently sits on many committees and is an active member of the following:
• Environmental Committee Member within the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association (2003 to present)
• President of the Erosion & Sediment Control Association of Alberta (2021 to present)
• International Erosion & Sediment Control Association – Hydraulic Mulch Steering Committee Member (2021 to present)
• International Erosion & Sediment Control Association – Canadian Chapter Member
• Canadian Land Reclamation Association – Alberta Chapter Member
In his spare time, you can find Corey training for his next marathon, mountain biking, hiking or downhill skiing; his wife and two daughters refer to him as the tree nerd as Corey loves to educate them on the trees, shrubs, and grasses on their many hiking trips and vacations.
