U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Kansas City District
Colonel Travis Rayfield, P.E., PMP currently serves as the District Commander for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Kansas City District. COL Rayfield previously served with USACE as the San Francisco District Commander and as the executive officer for the Chief of Engineers. His operational assignments include platoon leader and executive officer in the 14th Engineer Battalion, Fort Lewis, WA; battalion logistics officer and company commander in the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas; battalion operations officer and executive officer in the 1st Engineer Battalion, 555th Engineer Brigade, Fort Riley, Kansas; brigade operations officer and executive officer in the 555th Engineer Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. COL Rayfield is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and received masters degrees from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and the University of Florida. He is also a professional engineer registered in the State of Missouri.
