I have over 7-years of evaluating, mitigating, and eliminating environmental risks associated with the construction of renewable energy facilities including wind and solar farms, substations, high-voltage transmission lines, and data centers throughout the United States. These evaluations include desktop analyses, review of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial action plans, wetlands and State Waters/Waters of the US Surveys, hydrological investigations and models, permits, threatened and endangered species surveys, cultural and historical resource surveys, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Spill Prevention, Countermeasure, and Control (SPCC) Plans. I have reviewed over one hundred SWPPPs while at Mortenson.
I am highly knowledgeable of various State/County/Municipal stormwater rules and regulations including those specifically in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia.
I am also highly knowledgeable of various other State rules and regulations, Federal environmental acts and regulations, including Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Oil Pollution Act of 1990, Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Endangered Species Act, Migratory Bird Protection Act, Tier II Reporting under Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) and ash pond facilities, brownfields, and leaking petroleum storage tanks (LPSTs).
