LaRhonda Julien is Inspection Performance Specialist for the Construction Inspection department at Georgia Transmission Corporation – a not-for-profit utility company that connects power plants to local electric member cooperatives by planning, building and maintaining the high-voltage transmission lines and power grid infrastructure throughout Georgia. Her major duties involve implementing human performance improvement, overseeing business continuity, and change management processes along with coordinating capital construction projects and environmental protection activities. She chairs the company’s Human Performance Strategic Team.
LaRhonda earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix. She received a Lean Six Sigma green belt from the University of Georgia. She has professional memberships with the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the International Erosion Control Association, the Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals, and the Cobb Association of REALTORS. She also serves as a member of the North American Transmission Forum’s Human Performance Core Team.
LaRhonda has extensive experience in the non-profit sector with a focus on sustainability, mission advancement, and development. She serves on the board for the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia and Catholic Charities Atlanta Leadership Class. She has continued her professional development through leadership programs with Catholic Charities Atlanta and the United Way of Atlanta.
She commits to compassionate service as a Stephen Minister and Cancer Care Ministry Leader. She has participated in many Habitat for Humanity builds and other volunteer events.
LaRhonda is the recipient of the Archbishop John F. Donoghue Award from Catholic Charities Atlanta. She received the Georgia Transmission Corporation Power of Choice Award for Process Improvement, Safety Award, Community Service Spirit Award, Power of Choice Award for Department Team, Associates’ Choice Award for Capital Projects, and Associates’ Choice Award for Team Accomplishment. She successfully completed the Georgia Transmission Corporation Management Development program.
