Dr. Billur Kazaz is a Senior Staff Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants. She has been specializing in construction stormwater management since 2018. She has recently earned her Ph.D. in civil engineering at Auburn University, where she conducted research on developing guidance for proper flocculant implementation on construction sites. She has also performed research on deep learning based aerial stormwater inspections and GIS-based soil loss risk evaluation. Dr. Kazaz is an active member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and she is a CPESC.
