Barney Blackburn worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Roadside Environmental Unit for over 16 years in environmental compliance inspection, erosion and sediment control design and supervisory roles. Mr. Blackburn also worked as a Stormwater Engineer for AECOM consulting firm for 18 months and as a Senior Stormwater/Environmental Engineer with STV, Inc. for 4 months following his employment with NCDOT. Mr. Blackburn is currently employed as the Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Management Plan Review Program Lead for Wake County, North Carolina, with the Environmental Services Water Quality Division since March of 2017.
