Dr. Eric R. Carlson is Professor and Kelly L. Krahwinkel Endowed Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Harvard University Graduate School of Education. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, his general surgery internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and his fellowship in oral/head and neck oncologic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
