Dr. Agarwal is the chair & residency program director in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Agarwal obtained his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina. He completed his extensive oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at Medstar Washington hospital Center, which included clinical rotations at Children's National Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University. He has been in full-time academic practice since 2012. His clinical and research interested are focused on corrective jaw surgery, obstructive sleep apnea, treatment of facial trauma with correction of post-traumatic deformities, bone reconstruction, and dental implants.
