Sinjini Biswas is an interventional cardiologist working at the Bristol Heart Institute in the UK. She trained in Melbourne, Australia and completed a PhD there, supported by prestigious scholarships from the National Heart Foundation and National Health and Medical Research Council, on use of big data to optimise PCI outcomes. She subsequently completed fellowships in TAVI and complex PCI at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Bristol Heart Institute. She has clinical and research interests in coronary microvascular dysfunction, intravascular imaging, calcific coronary artery disease and outcomes research. She also has experience in clinical trials, having worked for several years as a cardiovascular trials physician for Monash University in Melbourne. Dr Biswas has been recognised for her research through the award of a highly competitive National Heart Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2023
