Dr. Gregory Serrao is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support for the Cardiac Cath Lab at the Zena and Michael A. Weiner Cardiovascular Institute at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His clinical and research focus is in the implantation and management of percutaneous mechanical circulatory support for cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, pulmonary embolism and respiratory failure. Dr Serrao also has a passion for education and serves as the Director of the Cardiology Teaching Service staffed by the internal medicine residents at Mount Sinai Hospital.
