Dr. William S. Weintraub is the Director of Outcomes Research in the Heart & Vascular Institute of Washington Hospital Center and Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Weintraub has a long track record of research involving clinical trials, large registries, health status assessment and cost-effectiveness analysis. He has had peer reviewed funding since 1981. Today he has funding both from the National Institutes of Health and industry. He has over 700 papers in the peer reviewed literature and remains a frequent speaker, both nationally and internationally.
