Dr. Binita Shah was awarded her MD and a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation from NYU School of Medicine. She is Associate Director of Research in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at NYU and Associate Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Manhattan VA Hospital. Dr. Shah conducts federally-funded clinical translational research with a focus on inflammation and cardiovscular disease. She served as the PI of the Colchicine-PCI trial and the US arm of the ColCorona trial, and has R01 funding as the PI of the CLEAR SYNERGY Biomarker Substudy. Dr. Shah also serves as a board of trustees member for SCAI and an associate editor for Circulation Cardiovascular Interventions.
