Dr. Pablo Morales is a medical officer in the Division of Cardiovascular Devices at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health – FDA. He joined the FDA as a medical officer in 2008, after working in aortic endovascular research at the Cleveland Clinic for two years. He has special interest in developing collaborative efforts between professional societies, device manufacturers and the FDA to optimize the collection of clinical data. He had provided clinical and regulatory advice in the development of post-market studies to evaluate the real-world safety and performance of IVC filters as well as endovascular grafts for the treatment of aortic dissections. Finally, Pablo is co-chair of the Registry Assessment of Peripheral Interventional Devices (RAPID) project which is is one of the pilot projects toward developing a national evaluation system for health technology (NEST) under MDEpiNet.
