Professor Martin T Rothman has practiced interventional cardiologyy since the early 80's in London at The London Chest Hospital & Barts. After a full career that include complex coronary & structural interventions, new device evaluations, clinical research, and driving a number of startup companies (including Intravascular Research Ltd that contributed IP and know how to Volcano, HD Clinical that created electronic patient records used in many NHS hospital currently, Limflow that created an alternative to limb removal, & Corflow Therapeutics that is developing therapeutic intervention for microvascualr obstruction occuring at AMI) he joined Medtronic in California as Chief Medical Officer in 2010. Prof Rothman retired in 2018, and then joined Highlife Medical as a Board member and CMO, Sofinnova as a Venture Partner, and is advising and helping early stage companies to develop.
