Nicole Ibrahim is the Deputy Office Director of the Office of Cardiovascular Devices at the FDA. She joined FDA in 2009 as a reviewer in the Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Devices Branches. Her primary review areas included stents, cardiac occluders and inferior vena cava filters, as well as finite element analysis consulting reviews across a variety of device types. She then served as branch chief of the Structural Heart Devices Branch and Division Director for the Division of Circulatory Support, Structural and Vascular Devices. Prior to joining FDA, she received her PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
