Daniel Davis earned his BS in Chemistry and PharmD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and 2019, respectively. As a distinguished student, he graduated from the College of Pharmacy (UTCOP) with both research and academic honors. In 2021, he concluded his studies as a member of the PharmD/PhD Honor’s program in the Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery.
He currently contributes to the field as an associate principal scientist at AustinPx and as an editor for the third edition of "Formulating Poorly Water-Soluble Drugs." His influence also extends to the editorial board of The AAPS PharmSciTech Journal.
An accomplished scholar, Davis has authored twelve peer-reviewed publications and holds eight patents and patent applications. His groundbreaking research aims to enhance the solubility of poorly water-soluble drugs, with a particular emphasis on innovative formulation designs. His strategies predominantly employ KinetiSol processing, spray drying, and lipid-based formulations.
