Firouz Asgarzadeh, Ph.D. is Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutics at BioDuro. Dr. Asgarzadeh has over 27 years of CRDMO R&D experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, controlled release coating, solubility enhancement (Melt Extrusion and Spray-Drying), oral/injectable dosage product development, polymer synthesis and polymer processing.

Prior to joining BioDuro, he was Director of Technical Services, North America at Evonik for over 10 years, establishing service laboratories and leading controlled release formulation and application teams providing contract services to pharmaceutical industry customers. He also managed university relationships and organized seminars and webinars attended by thousands of scientists, students, managers, and Directors.
