Dr. Elizabeth Nance is the Jagjeet and Janice Bindra Career Development Endowed Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering and Associate Professor in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, with adjunct appointments in Radiology and the eScience Institute. She serves as the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies in Chemical Engineering. Elizabeth serves as the Editor in Chief of Bioengineering & Translational Medicine, an impact factor 10.7 open access journal within AIChE and published by Wiley.
Elizabeth received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from NC State, and her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering with Dr. Justin Hanes. She completed a postdoc with Dr. Sujatha Kannan in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, with a research emphasis in neuroscience, at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
