Christine Hamadani is a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in Physical Chemistry under Dr. Eden Tanner at the University of MIssissippi (Ole Miss). She is working on novel ionic liquid-polymer nanotherapeutics for targeted organ delivery via cellular hitchhiking post-IV administration. Christine graduated with highest Sigma Xi research honors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Boston University, and earned her Masters' degree summa cum laude in Bioengineering under Dr. Samir Mitragotri at Harvard University. At Harvard, Christine's Masters' thesis focused on the conception of the nanoparticle platform used for current Ph.D. work. Besides serving as a CRS YSC Executive Committee Member, she is a National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical School.
