Lore Herman is a pharmacist and PhD Student at Ghent University. She is a member of the Ghent Research Group on Nanomedicines, where she investigates the repurposing of pulmonary surfactant to design nanocarriers for local administration of RNA therapeutics into the lung. These bio-inspired carriers could reduce carrier-related toxicities and allow safer therapies.
