Dr. Yunching (Becky) Chen earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. Following postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, she investigated the significant role of tumor stroma in cancer progressions. She joined National Tsing Hua University in 2013, where she now serves as the Director of Biomedical Science and Engineering Center and leads the Drug Targeting Laboratory. Her research primarily involves formulating novel treatments for cancer and inflammatory diseases, with notable publications in various prestigious journals such as Journal of Controlled Release, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Protocols, Advanced Materials, Advanced Funtional Materials, Gut, and Hepatology. She is currently the Chair of the International Chapter Committee of the Controlled Release Society and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Controlled Release. Her work in pharmaceutical sciences has established her as a field leader.
