Dr. Fan Zhang is an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Florida, with an adjunct appointment in Chemical Engineering. His lab combines materials sciences and immunology to study the interaction between nanomedicine and innate immunity, and to engineer myeloid cell-targeting therapeutics to treat CNS tumors.
Fan received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and postdoctoral training in immuno-oncology at the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
