Dr. Md Nurunnabi (Nabi) is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso. Nabi lab investigates at the intersection of materials, biology, and engineering with an aim to improve the delivery approach for better management of patients in the clinic by utilizing biomaterials and bioengineering techniques. Nabi's contribution has resulted in over 70 peer-reviewed articles and patents. The ongoing projects in his lab are funded by various private and public agencies including NIH, CPRIT, Coldwell Foundation, and Pfizer.
Nabi is started volunteering for CRS as a trainee representative within Bioengineering Focus Group (FG) in 2017, and now serving as chair for the FG.
