Kim McAndrews, MEPM, is the Strategic Services Manager at South Metro Fire Rescue in Centennial, Colorado. South Metro spans over 287 sq miles and proudly serves a population of over 560,000 people. Kim began her career at South Metro in 2008 as a GIS/Preplan Technician for the dispatch center. For over 13 years, Kim was part of or managed the GIS team that supported dispatch and the fire department. Kim recently moved bureaus to join the Strategic Services team, where she continues to use her GIS and analytic knowledge to help provide strategic direction and supervision for programs such as reporting, ISO, accreditation, fire station and apparatus locations, strategic planning and initiatives, and various research projects. Kim takes great pride in working for the fire department and enjoys working as a public servant.
