CRRL 2024 Call for Presentations

The Community Risk Reduction Leadership (CRRL) Conference is looking for presenters for the 2024 education program, May 14 – 16, 2024 in Glendale, Arizona.

We’re looking for dynamic presenters who bring critical thinking and innovation, coupled with real-world experiences and case studies, that will stimulate conversations about how to create and manage community risk reduction.

Breakout Sessions

The planning committee is soliciting submissions for breakout sessions. These sessions are 60-minutes in length. Submitters will need to select their session format from the below options:

  • Session Format
    • Lecture
These sessions are your standard presentations; heavy with PowerPoint and lecture
    • Interactive
Interactive sessions should provide exercises in the session that engage your classroom attendees. Sessions that lead to group discussion and thought sharing.
    • Panel Discussion
These sessions should focus on a specific topic and bring in panelists with different views and perspectives on the topic. These sessions should allow for audience interaction with the panel.
    • Express Talks (these submissions will be for 15-20 minute talks)
Express talks are 15-20 minute sessions, think TED-Talk style, that include little to no PowerPoint. These sessions lend well to quick motivational/leadership style talks.
Submitters will not need to pre-identify a track this year, however, below are some of the topic areas the planning committee are looking to incorporate in the 2024 programming:
  • Suggested Topic Areas
    • Organizational Culture
    • Research & Data
    • Community Partnerships
    • Emerging Issues in Risk Reduction
    • Leadership
    • CRR in EMS

Requirements for the Submission Process

Submitters can expect to be asked for the following information during the submission process:
  • Presenter(s) information to include name, title, organization, contact information, and a brief bio. You will be able to invite speakers to complete their profile if you do not have all of their information
  • An abstract used to provide an in-depth description of your session to be used by the planning committee in the submission review process
  • Learning objectives
