Course Description: This course will provide an overview of all common pediatric urological problems stressing recent changes in management, cost-effective management and differentiating surgical from nonsurgical problems.

Learning Objectives:

Diagnose, manage and provide consultation for antenatal and early neonatal hydronephrosis.
Diagnose and provide cost-effective management of common genital problems, such as evaluation of acute scrotal pathology.
Evaluate the medical and surgical management, of common postnatal obstruction of the urinary tract, including ureteropelvic junction obstruction, ureterovesical junction obstruction and posterior urethral valves.
Manage common genital abnormalities in the male child, including hypospadias, chordee and hidden penis.
Interpret voiding dysfunction and its relation to incontinence, urinary tract infection and vesicoureteral reflux.
