Course Description: This course is designed to provide a review of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, evaluation and current treatment options, including nonsurgical and surgical, for men with Peyronie’s disease and priapism. The course will be based upon the most recent published guidelines and algorithms. The faculty are world-renowned experts in this field and have been frequent contributors to the medical literature on these subjects.

Learning Objectives:

Identify Peyronie’s disease and Initiating the appropriate diagnostic studies as well as offering appropriate care in the acute and chronic phases.
Describe surgical algorithms and guidelines for management of Peyronie’s disease.
Identify appropriate treatment options based upon stage and severity of disease; will include discussion on current published outcomes for all forms of nonsurgical and surgical treatment.
Cite the evaluation and treatment options for priapism based upon the new AUA guidelines and the extensive experience of the faculty members—ischemic, nonischemic and recurrent ischemic (previously known as stuttering priapism) subtypes.
Recognize, evaluate and treat acute priapism with medications as well as surgery when indicated.
